Cloaking is a spam technique in which the content presented to the search engine crawler is different from that presented to user and its just use to misguide the user and search engine.

Search engines consider cloaking as a spam technique because its purpose is just only to mislead search engines.

While conventional cloaking process served totally different content to search engines and user, now day’s new clocking techniques is used by webmaster in which only parts of the page is replaced not whole the page.

As Search engines are very clever and they know that these spamming cloaking methods exist and they employ highly skilled engineers that try to detect spam techniques used on my websites with algorithms. In addition, a competitor can also manually report your website. So try to avoid these spamming techniques.
